Beverly Hills, CA (January 22, 2020) – The Method Fest Independent Film Festival, scheduled for March 20 - March 26, 2020, at the Lumiere Music Hall Theatre, also in Beverly Hills. The festival, in its 14th year of celebrating film and acting, seeks character and story-driven films which include strong performances by its actors. The Method Fest features a diverse slate of both American and international features and short films and is named after "The Method" school of acting, which revolutionized the approach in acting, particularly in film. The final deadline for film submissions to be considered for the 14th The Method Fest is the late extended entry deadline, February 14, 2020.
The Method Fest takes great pride in being a festival of discovery, looking to help launch the works of fresh, new filmmakers and to discover breakthrough performances by young and bold new actors. The festival also takes great delight in sharing career-defining performances of established performers and showcasing a few select well-known directors to screen at the festival.

The 14th The Method Fest will also feature several tributes to actors and top filmmakers as well as Opening and Closing night galas during its 6-day run. Acting workshops, informative panels and educational seminars round out the programming of this exciting and diverse festival of film and acting.
During its first 13 years, The Method Festhas launched more than 150 films into the marketplace (via theatrical distribution, DVD/video release, TV deals), and brought a high level of visibility and attention to actors: Naomi Watts, Jeremy Sisto, Jena Malone, Tamara Hope and Eugene Byrd.
